On a holiday outing years ago, several friends set off to enjoy dinner at a small country inn. What they found was a quaint village decorated for the holidays with lights glowing amid fresh-fallen snow.

These warm feelings can be shared through the artistry and craftsmanship celebrated in this nostalgic collection. Each piece is handcrafted of ceramic, individually hand painted, and fired with a glaze finish. Cast into the mold is the Department 56 logo - your guarantee of authenticity. Every year pieces are retired and the molds broken leaving room for new pieces that capture the heart and spirit of small town America.
