True Scottish castle design, 'Heathmoor Castle' adds royalty and eminence to the Dicken's Village Collection. The word castle is traced to the word castrum, which is Latin for fort. Now castle has a broader definition, especially in folklore, to include not only forts but also private residences of people of power and wealth. Tales of hapless maidens locked in the tower seem to surround castle folklore as well.

Two of the posts on the top of the castle are broken. The rest of the building appears to be in perfect condition. Tested to ensure that the lighting works and comes with the appropriate light cord. The outer sleeve/box has some minor wear and creasing. One side of the box has been taped over.
