Alpine Village, the third porcelain village, was introduced in 1986. It represents a Bavarian town featuring businesses, farms, and homes that dot the mountainsides and valleys through the alps.

This slow-to-grow village has never had a limited edition. In fact, it wasn't until 1997 that it first received a midyear introduction. The attractiveness of its latest introductions, as well as its slow growth, has captured the interest of many collectors.
