A man of deep faith and great courage, Daniel continued to pray to God-even when that was declared to be against the law. King Darius reluctantly sentenced Daniel according to the law, and he was cast into a den of lions. The king returned early the next morning and was both relieved and pleased to see that Daniel had not been harmed.

This design was inspired by the Book of Daniel, 6:21-22.
