The object of the BARBIET™ SHOPPING SPREE game is to match identical cards into pairs; the player with the most pairs at the end of the game wins.

Place the draw pile facedown and position the four store cards, faceup, around the draw pile. Decide who will be the first player. The first player draws the top card and places it on the corresponding store card. For example, if a player draws a card that shows Barbie wearing a hat, she will place the card on the HAT SHOP store card. Play continues with each of the players taking turns drawing from the draw pile.

When a player draws a card that matches a top card in the store, she takes the top card and makes a pair. If a player draws a SHOPPING SPREE SALE card, she may take any card from any of the stores, put it with the SHOPPING SPREE SALE card, and make a pair.

If a player draws a KEN card, she may collect a pair of cards from any other player. Once the SHOPPING SPREE SALE and KEN cards are drawn, they must not be used again.

Game play continues until all possible pairs are made. Players then count how many pairs of cards they have. The player with the most pairs wins!
