We're not sure what Barbie sees in SpongeBob SquarePants. After all, she's the most historically significant and perennially popular fashion doll in American history. He's a kitchen sponge who lives under the sea. But, as the title of this toy clearly states, Barbie loves SpongeBob. Maybe she's got more of a sense of humor than we ever thought. She's certainly dressed whimsically enough in a yellow T-shirt with SpongeBob's face boldly emblazoned across it. Her outfit is rounded out with blue SpongeBob print drawstring pants, which would seem to be perfect for a trip to the beach. The beach?! Is she planning, perhaps, to meet SpongeBob himself? All kidding aside, this is a pretty interesting intersection of pop culture phenomena and is probably worth collecting for that reason alone. A SpongeBob charm clip is also included!
