Welcome to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, otherwise known as Holland. Our countryside is famous for beautiful tulips and North Sea beaches. There are over a thousand windmills here, which were built to drain and dry the land.

Holland is crossed by hundreds of miles of canals. I love to go bicycling along the canals, and - if I'm very lucky - the waters freeze and I can ice skate. You might also know our klompen, the wooden shoes Dutch people used to wear in the fields.

I hope you can visit Holland one day! It's a fantastic place.
