Midge doll made her debut in 1963 and remained a true-blue friend. She originally came with bright blue eyes, freckles, and a stylish flip hairdo available in blonde, brunette, or titian red. In 1965, she changed to the cute pageboy re-created in this giftset.

Barbie and Midge 50th Anniversary Giftset brings two great friend together again, dressed in re-creations of favorite vintage fashions from the 1600 Series. Invitation To Tea #1632 was introduced in 1965. Barbie doll wears the pink hostess jumpsuit with a pink and silvery metallic vest and silvery belt. Midge doll favors 1966s Lunch On The Terrace. The summery, empire-waist dress features lime green and white checks that play against the whimsical, polka dot bodice. A matching picture hat frames that adorable, freckled Midge face we've missed so much.
