Description

TEXACO THE TEXAS COMPANY

showcase display series #1

In 1901, on Spindletop Hill in Southeast Texas, Joseph S. "Buckskin Joe" Cullinan discovered a 50,000 barrel- a-day oil "gusher". His discovery sparked the beginning of Texas oil and the birth of a company-the Texas Fuel Company-that would become one of the world's largest and best-known energy giants.

Now Corgi commemorates TEXACO with a showcase display series that captures the evolution of oil transportation through the 20th century. Combining superb detailing and authentic decoration, this unique series is a lasting tribute to The Texas Company, now known as TEXACO.

Each intricate die-cast model is mounted to a crystal clear plinth. An informative full color data card is also included and can be affixed to the plinth. Arrange each plinth side by side to create an impressive panoramic display. Collect them all and be sure to look for future new releases!

Crystal Clear Display Plinth - Collector Data card! - Contains: Vehicle, Plinth, Data Card - Ages 3 and up - Corgi 2001

There is some wear on the corners and edges of the box as well as some wrinkling of the plastic display window. There may be tears and creases / bending in the cardboard.
