C-3PO is a tall doid with a gold metallic surface. As a protocol-droid he translates millions of Galactic languages, including the electronic tongues spoken by many droids. He is the loyal companion of R2-D2 and translates for him.
Darth Vader personifies the evil of the Galactic Empire. Imposing in his black mask and cape, he once was a Jedi Knight but turned to the dark side of the Force. He uses his power in support of the Empire and seeks the destruction of the Rebel Alliance.
