Clad in black leather armor, the immensely strong and fierce warriors mercilessly stalk down, enslave and exterminate man in vicious hunts. As skilled equestrians, the Gorilla Soldiers ride down their human prey, entangling the hunted in woven nets or firing upon them with lethal aim from their rifles. They regulate the human population through fear and controlled killing, sparing some only for laboratory experimentation. Following the orders of the ruling class Orangutans, Gorilla soldiers work relentlessly to maintain order in Ape society. Chimpanzees often find themselves at odds with the Gorillas since their work leans towards the scientific and heretical, as opposed to the religious and political. Seen by the Chimpanzee as brutish and dull, Gorillas, never the less are an integral part of the foundation of order on the Planet of the Apes.
