The 20-25 hp 102 x 140 mm four cylinder engined Crossley was used throughout the 1920's by the Military services and civilian tradesmen alike, due to its robust and versatile goods carrying capabilities.
To make it more versatile, in being able to go over very rough roads pneumatic tyres were fitted.
