Description
When the Ranchero was introduced in 1957 as part of the Ford truck line, advertising encouraged consumers to "look...Look again!" The first car with a truck bed, the Ranchero was patterned after the full-size Ford Fairlane and resembled the Ranch Wagon. Buyers could choose from every engine option including the Thunderbird Special 352 V-is as well as luxurious trims. By 1970, the luxury pickup was being described as "the second car that can do things your first car can't."
This series highlights a different vintage truck each year.
